Greetings everyone,
My name's Tony. How are you doing?
Hope all is great with you.
It's great that there's a forum about Praying Mantis gung fu.
I would like to ask to you a question.
I wanted to know if Sifu Lai had a friendship with Mr Al
Novak and if they exchange ideas about martial arts.
Thanks
Tony |

Dear Mr. Tony, thank you very much for visiting our URL. Unfortunatelly I have no information about any connection of Lai Sifu and Mr. Al Novak. Best wishes from Brazil! |

Hey gang, I'm a newer student of Qi'Xing Tang Lang Quan. My uncle is a junior instructor and diciple of Steve Cottrell in Ft. Worth Texas, and has been giving me lessons for about a year now. I Love researching and reading the history of Mantis GongFu, but out side of the websites I can't find much literature on the form. I've Heard there are some good books on Chin-Na's(spl?all the wrist grabs/joint locks and breaks) But I haven't been able to find them. Could anybody help? |

I have been practising Tang Lang in Italy with Sifu Stefano Danesi for ten years. We have a doubt regarding some of the forms we practise. We regularly perform Tou Tau and Chu Dong but we have no way of knowing if they are 'Tang Lang' Tou Tau and Chu Dong, or, Bai Yuan Tou Tau and Chu Dong. Does anyone know of any books or videos showing these forms? |

I studied under Al Novak for 2 years in the early 70's. Fascinating man! I don't know what became of him, but I took about 35 years off from martial arts. Now, at almost 61, I am getting close to black-belt in Shito-ryu under Hanshi Del Saito in Grants Pass, Oregon. |
