An overview of our school

The Lai Kung Fu Institute Brasil was founded in 1999, after a unprecedented visit of Grand Master Brendan Lai, one of the biggest names in the Northern Praying Mantis of all times. Grand Master Lai founded the Brazilian Institute at Campinas, State of São Paulo, and pointed Samuel Mendonça as Master Instructor and responsible for the Northern Praying Mantis system development in Brazil. Grand Master Brendan Lai was the only disciple graduated by the King of Northern Praying Mantis in Hong Kong, Grand Master Wong Hon Fun, to teach in Brazil, and due to that, the Lai Kung Fu Institute has been helping to construct the Traditional Kung Fu in our country.
